I already updated my “about me” page, but I thought this was worthy of an actual full blown post! I am super excited to announce that I am now an Origami Owl Independent Designer. The process felt a bit like waiting for Christmas morning. I signed up to be a designer several months ago…finally the day came! I received my lovely package last Monday!

Last week we were busy peeling and cracking crayons! I wanted to include crayon hearts in the goodie bags that we had put together for the make and take party. I did not realize just how long it would take to peel a crayon! I remember back in the day the paper was more like a sleeve that would slide right off.
Here is another simple and fun tutorial…great for kids and only takes about 30 minutes. I suggest saving up those old toilet paper rolls and making these in an assemble line. I think they would be adorable decorating a tree. You can also use them as gift receipt holders, money holders, or as a box for small items.

First you will need to gather your supplies.
1. paper roll
2. paper-six different colors is best
3. hole punch in 3 sizes
5. double sided tape or glue
6. scissors & a paper-cutter or a straight edge
